Custom Cuff Width
Cuffs are an important component of the overall fit of the dress shirt. In matters of fit, the pieces of a shirt fit together like a puzzle, one piece after another—each dependent on the next for its individual shape and cut.
Our tailors cut the Cuff Width in proportion to the Sleeve Width…which is made in proportion to the Arm Hole opening…which is dependent on the proportions of the Chest Width. But, we are a custom company, and we know from experience that all bodies are created differently. It’s natural that from person to person, these proportions can be different.
For this reason, we offer our customers the opportunity to specify a custom Cuff Width—depending on your wrist size or the size of your favorite watch, we can make you a cuff that feels comfortable. Just email us immediately after placing your order so we can attach your request to the order before the tailors begin cutting the pattern for your shirt.
It’s easy to determine your custom Cuff Width. Here’s how: In order for us to communicate to our tailors exactly what sizing you’d like for this area, please measure the Cuff Width of a shirt you own that fits well, and let us know the width (not circumference) that you would like us to use for the Cuff Width. (As seen in the photo below.)

French Cuff Enthusiasts, please take note: With Regular (single and double button cuffs) we measure across the full width of the cuff. But for French cuffs we measure from the middle of the button hole to the opposite edge. (See photo below)
